Tron Legacy Trailer

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

The Tron Legacy trailer is available online and it looks great! You can watch a HD version via this link or you can visit the official Disney Tron site. While it did give me chills down my spine (I love Tron), I do have some doubts about the story set up. How is it possible the arcade was there filled with the games after all these years, how come electricity is still working and what about that hidden room? How come nobody noticed the room before and how is all the equipment still there… and working. Still, to give it the benefit of the doubt, and the fact that I am a big Tron fan, I’m sure there will be a good explanation and enough good stuff to make this movie ROCK!

Tron Legacy will be release on December 17 2010 in 3D.

The Sorcerer’s Trailer

SorcerersTrailer

The Walt Disney Studios has released a first trailer of the modern view of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, a movie with Nicolas Case as the master sorcerer Balthazar Blake. I must admit, I was a little skeptical on how they would turn this classic Disney idea in a modern version. But the trailer just showed me not to be and that I want to see this movie on the big screen. It looks amazing! Don’t believe me? Have a look for yourself…

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice staring Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer, Monica Bellucci, Toby Kebbell and directed by Jon Turteltaub will be in theaters: July 16, 2010

TR2N

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

First of all.. what’s up with that name and titel. TRtwoN? Why not just TRON 2 or TRON II, or even TRON Level 2… Anything is better then using a number in a name or titel. It has been done so often now and to be honest… it just doesn’t work. But that my only remark on the project as I can’t wait to see a well deserved sequel to an underrated Disney masterpiece. Ok, geek boy mode is on, I admit it. I love TRON!

Visitors of the San Diego Comic convention got a real treat when they where invited to watch some TR2N footage. The footage isn’t a trailer or part of the movie. It is a small project to show that making a new movie, with the technology of today, is a good thing.

Wall E in Russia and France

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008

It is always interesting to see how some movies get presented in other countries. Trailers, news and poster can vary by country where it is released. The same happened for Wall-E. If you visit io9 website (a great site for the SF fans) you see a great poster used in Russia to advertise the new PIXAR movie. The romantic tone is taking over on this poster.

France is also going on the romantic tour with a special trailer where Wall E is doing his best to show his love for EVE. The trailer is set on the “Love Is In The Air” song and is real fun to watch. Although it looks like EVE has an Evil side,… just have a look at her “eyes”.

4 more Russian Posters can be found at PIXAR.blog, including the US poster so you can compare and choose what is, in your opinion, the best design.
