Happy Halloween Everybody

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006

halloweenstitch_j01.jpgHave a great “Disney” Halloween everybody! If you’re in a Disney Park enjoy your Halloween magic.

Don’t forget to think about me for a second as I love Halloween (my favorite celebration) but can’t be in a Disney Park this year. However I can start my countdown for next years Celebration as planning has started… (Yes, I know, a little early)

So… one more time

Happy Halloween Everybody

Black Widow Bride Halloween Special

Monday, October 30th, 2006

katcressida1.jpgIf you’re a fan of the haunted Mansion your going to love the next announcement. Doombuggies.com, one of the best websites when it comes to Haunted Mansion information, has a real nice Halloween treat for all of us. They have asked voice actress Kat Cressida who portrays the new Black Widow Bride in Disneyland‘s Haunted Mansion to tell the real story of the Haunted Mansion as it was intended and created by the Imagineers. A story that was getting lost in all the many other stories that had found their way out there on the web, with the fans or even the Cast Members. This sounds like it will be amazing. We will get the story from a first hand source and we might be getting some real surprises. I for sure cannot wait to hear this. This special feature will go live on the day of Halloween as a special on DoomBuggies.com.

Marilyn Manson: “This is Halloween” Video

Tuesday, October 24th, 2006

ThisIsHalloweenMM.jpgIf you haven’t had the chance to see the Marilyn Manson “This is Halloween” version, that can be found on the new “A Nightmare before Christmas” double CD, visit YouTube to see the whole video.

I guess his music might not be for everybody’s taste (good thing we are not all alike) but I do enjoy his music and think he has done the song justice.

Halloween! (Part 2: Scares not at Walt Disney World)

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

HHNweb.jpgWhenever I go for the “sweet” Walt Disney World Halloween experience I will not miss another Haunt when I am in Orlando. Like I said it the first part; I love Halloween, so it is impossible to celebrate without a visit to some really scary haunts. The best place to do this when visiting Walt Disney World (in my opinion) is going to Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios. (starting 29th September)

Now the last thing I would do (as the Disney fanatic that I am) is lure away people from WDW to visit another park, but admittedly there is a lot of fun out there that will tempt me to get off Disney property and enjoy it.

Halloween Horror Night is one of those and one of my favorite events. I go to Mickey’s not so Scary Halloween party, but I will make sure to go to some (multiple) Halloween Horror Nights too during a “Halloween” visit

Halloween! (Part 1: The Walt Disney World Experience)

Friday, September 15th, 2006

MNSSHP.jpgHalloween! It is my favorite time of year, the celebration I enjoy the most. Today Walt Disney World’s Halloween party, “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party” kicks of in the Magic Kingdom. I was lucky enough to visit the event in 2002, 2003 and in 2005, but I don’t think I’ll make it over there this year. (I am still looking into it as I do have a free flight with my Continental Airlines points, but the chances are slim)

Here are some of my personal tips when going to the event.

Don’t miss the Parade and make sure to go for a spot early, it is very popular and obviously very pleasantly “not so” spooky. So make sure to look for a good place early enough as many will not want to miss this parade.

Disneyland Resort Paris trip report: EVIL things

Saturday, August 19th, 2006

I have a fascination with the evil side of live. I am a good boy, not evil myself, honestly, but the evil things are just appealing to me. I like creepy and scary movies, enjoy the evil games and it isn’t any different when it comes to Disney.

Halloween at Disney is one of my favorite times and celebrations, absolutely loving “Mickey’s not so Scary Halloween party” at Walt Disney World. On my trip to Disneyland Resort Paris I looked for the evil parts in the park and loved them like I always do. Phantom Manor is, for obvious reasons, my all time favorite ride; even if I am a real Roller Coaster fan it still wins from any coaster in the park. I love to walk around the graveyard that is so often forgotten about many guests. I look at the graves and their funny inscriptions, enjoy the sounds and views and it is a place where I can really relax and breathe in the atmosFEAR.

Magic at Night

Sunday, June 4th, 2006

TOKYO-DisneyResortNightview1.jpgAlthough I do try to get to the parks when they open, I am not a morning person. Just like this photographer of this website; Night Windows TOKYO Night View, I like the nights. Browse around the site to see some amazing night view shots of the Tokyo Disneyland park, DisneySea, the Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights and the Halloween celebration at the Disneyland Park.

A Nightmare in 3-D

Wednesday, April 26th, 2006

NightmareBeforeChristmas.jpgThe Nightmare Before Christmas from Tim Burton goes 3-D. If the information is correct we will see this updated version in the theatre around Halloween, October 20, 2006 to be exact.

I got really excited when I saw this news. This is a masterpiece and should be seen in the Theater. It will remain to be seen if the 3-D effects will do it any justice.

Halloween at MGM Studios?

Friday, February 24th, 2006

HalloweenEven if it’s early to talk about it now; Halloween is always been one of those fun things at Disney. There are enough villains to throw in the Halloween fun. I have seen Halloween at Disneyland Resort Paris and at Walt Disney World.

A rumor says that WDW will get a second gate to share in these celebrations. With the big success of the Halloween Horror Nights (I am a big fan) over at Universal Studios (Island of Adventure) it now looks like WDW wants some of that cake too.

A more adult and Teen orientated celebration might finds it way into the MGM Studios. There is no real info if they will add haunted houses, although doubted, my guess is the will have the streets filled with villains (maybe hunting down some guest) and some of the thrill rides open and maybe a special parade… Who knows?

This rumor has been there since 2003, but died out shortly after. This year however the rumor came back and with (rumored) big plans over at Universal Studios this might see the day of light in the near future… It stays a rumor of course until official announcement from Disney, but as a Halloween fan wanted it to share with you.
