The Library of Congress is helping the promotion for Walt Disney Pictures’ current release “Saving Mr. Banks”, the feature telling the story of how the Disney classic “Mary Poppins” was created – at least that is the sideffect of it revealing its annual list of 25 movies to be added to the National Film Registry, which (with this latest addition) will stand at 625 entries.

As you can obviously guess by this introduction one the 25 entries into the registry for 2013 is Disney’s “Mary Poppins”. It joins fellow Disney classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Bambi, Beauty and the┬áBeast or Toy Story (to name just a few) already in the registry.
