Where to take the Disney Princesses next
Tiana, the female lead of Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog” (now in theaters near you in the US, Germany and many other countries) broke the color barrier for Disney Princesses, being the first African American Princess in the animated Disney features. Beforehand Disney had gone international by introducing amongst others a Chinese heroine (Mulan) and an Arabian princess (Jasmine). So where could Disney venture now to break the next barrier and further extend its universe of princesses??
