Water Coaster on Board!
Disney has released some amazing information about their new cruise ship, the Disney Dream. It will feature an awesome 4 deck water coaster, AquaDuck. Riders will be seated on inflatable rafts and go on a wet ride trough a 765 foot long tube starting from the ships high point. The tube will even go over the edge of the ship, 13 feet of the edge with a clear view of the sea.
Of course that’s not all, there will be a lot more of special Disney magic on board. There will be animated art throughout the ship changing its look. Passengers on the lower decks without portholes will get a virtual one where you’ll get to see a video feed of the see including some extras like pirate ships or animated creatures. In the children’s area you’ll get to meet a turtle that will remember all the children’s names.
How amazing does this all sound? Pretty amazing I would say. I really hope to get to see this ship for real one day. Still got time to save up for an adventure like this as the Dream will not set sail before January 26, 2011.
