This time Disneyland Paris really outdid themselves!
Though the rain could have ruined the whole evening show (it was really really REALLY scary when I landed in Paris Saturday at 16 pm), by the time the Press event started the skies where pretty much clear (For Paris standards that is).
The event could be summed as not much more than the shows we will be seeing from April 4 ON STEROIDS!
Yep; Special events took the very same shows which they have been working on for months; Place a la fete avec Mickey, Place a la Dance etc and performed them during an amazing night show!
The whole “Disneyland Paris street Disco” theme was taken to it’s extreme; the trees in the hub had been transformed in LED light shows, lasers where shooting their beams in the skies at the rhythm of the shows, fireworks where shot in the skies at he end of the last show!
But what really really got into me was when STITCH cam up on stage and started spinning discs with a full cast of dancers all over the hub!
Now what might really seem weird was that a giant Mickey Disco ball (and I do mean GIANT) started spinning and shooting lasers whilst Stitch left the deejay deck and danced the audience away!
Truly an amazing sight!
What can I say?
DLRP really did well on this one, it is only sad that most of what was seen yesterday night was a one time show which will never be “experienced” by normal guests!
