Happy Birthday Walt Disney Studios
it’s that single birthday everybody always forgets!
You always remember July 17th 1955 for Disneyland Anaheim. Disney’s California Adventure opened on February 8 2001
Everybody knows October 1st 1971 for the Magic Kingdom (though the ceremony was actually held on the 25th)
Epcot on the 1st of October 1982, Disney MGM Studios on May 1st 1989 (with a grand ceremony the night before as usual) and Animal Kingdom on April 22 1998.
then you get TokyoDisneyland with it’s April 15 1983 opening date and the amazing side park, TokyoDisneySEAS on September 4 2001!
And we all know that Euro Disneyland opened on April 12th 1992!
Hong Kong Disneyland opened to the world on September 12 2005
And the Walt Disney Studios? March 16 2002, exactly 7 years ago!
The single Disney theme park which changed most in it’s short life (even DCA didn’t get as many changes ….) is now 7 years old! And the future is bright ..maybe not this year but for sure in the future we will get a shinning park (the concept in the end is good)
