WDW Trip Photo book (photo 12): Old Key West
It has been a little while since I last added one of these pictures although I have tons of pictures left. But with Disney’s waiving their right to purchase the new Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas contract I wanted, I thought it’s a good idea to share my happy moment by showing another picture from my last trip. To show the magic of the Disney Vacation Club resorts I wanted to share one of the Old Key West Pictures I took. (Until I can go to Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas for the first time, bringing pictures from there). It wasn’t easy to choose one pictures as I took a whole collection from Old Key West. Doesn’t it look peaceful? Well, that’s because it is.
Old Key West is a great resort, very quiet and peaceful with lots of open space. The room was very specious and I can’t wait to go back. I love the resort.

I thoroughly enjoy your blog and read all your posts but the one Disney Vacation Club Resort I stayed at this time last year was the Old Key West.
When you say spacious we are talking like a mile walk to get from your room to to main building. It seemed that every time we wanted to get something to eat at a resonable hour there restaurants were closed or not open for service for one reason or another. They also put us in a handicap room which if you have never stayed in one has a funky shower arrangement that is just not Disney Like. Oh and the room was next to the road which we hear cars beeping and truck brakes screeching.
Altogether, not a good place…it’s old and worn down and for the amount of rooms they have there they do not have much in the way of a restaurant or anything good like that.
never again Old Key West—Love all the rest of the Vacation Club Resorts but that one…never again.
