Trading The Great Illinois Corn Flake for a WDW vacation!

thegreatillinoiscornflake.jpgIf you want to go to Walt Disney World you need some (actually a lot) of money. Some people try to make some extra, selling some of their collectables on Ebay, using the money to sponsor the trip.

In 2002 I paid my flight trip like this myself.

While I tried to make a little extra with my more “normal” collectables, other people will try to get some of the money together by selling food in the form of one of the US states…

The Great Illinois Corn Flake is one of them. It has been offered on Ebay before and reached about $200.000 before Ebay pulled the auction for violation. (Food cannot be sold when opened).

The owners of the flake put it back online, however this time offering a coupon in exchange for the flake. With the $200.000 offered the first time around they hope to get enough to pay for a Walt Disney World visit. With only $128.50 as highest bid at this moment and 2 days to go, they still have a long way before they can buy their WDW tickets. Still, “only $128,50” sounds good enough for 1 flake.

Want to help get the owners of the flake to go to Walt Disney World? Go and place your bid before it end…

Ebay is FULL of jealous and back stabbing people. That’s one of the reasons I no longer do business there. I’ve seen people brag (on their me page of ebay) about getting kicks getting other ebay members auctions pulled. What a sad life that would be. I on the other hand, never turned in someones auction.
