Audio Guide; Main Street, USA Review
A couple of days ago I got a CD in my postbox from Lou Mongello who brings us Disney news every week via his WDWradio site and podcast. Lou started a new project where you can listen to a CD full of Disney tidbits, knowledge, information and more; The Audio Guide to Walt DIsney World. His first CD takes us to Main Street USA in Walt Disney world. I took the CD, got into the car, put it in the player and started listening. A couple of minutes later I felt like I was walking around Main Street and enjoying the magic that so many people forget about or don’t even notice.
Although some of us Disney fanatic might already know a lot about what Lou shares here, there is enough material to even keep the “walking Disney encyclopedia geeks” happy. Info about the architecture, history about Main Street and (obviously) everything you need to know about the windows and the names spelled on them and lots more are all part of this CD. It’s a fun CD that can be used to close your eyes and dream about walking in Main Street (don’t try that while driving your car), but could as well be taken on a trip and listened to while you walk in the park looking at the things Lou is talking about. Job well done.
My only remark on the cd would be the limitation of the tracks. The whole CD takes about 80 minutes, but has been set on 1 track making it difficult to take the CD out of your car and then start listening again where you left of. It would also make it easier to find something back if divided on different tracks. But that is the only remark I have and should not be the deciding factor to get this CD in your house.
More information and how to order this and future CD’s can be found here. I am looking forwards to the next CD!
