In fact, they would be the first ones there if it made sense for them. In addition to this, don't forget the Ferrari theme park and the Warner Brothers studios theme park that have been announced for neighbouring Abu Dhabi (about 90 mins drive away). It is more expensive, and apparently, there is a big drive to build a lot more budget hotels which should attract more people. Of course, there's still no sign of Disney going there, but I guess only time will tell!! It will still be interesting to see how the price compares to Orlando/Florida (I did a recent quick survey which suggested it was actually slightly more expensive for a week in Dubai as 2 weeks in Orlando), as that may be the deciding factor for many people, but there is certainly more appeal to Dubai's future offerings now than there was a year ago.
