San Diego Comic Con 2007
It’s that time of year again (almost): The San Diego Comic Con (From July 26 to 29).
I have had the opportunity to visit this awesome convention in the past and have been dreaming of a return ever since. Unfortunately it will not be this year (but there is always a chance for another year)
For those (Disney fans) going to visit the event; here are some highlights you really should not miss:
Thursday, July 26, 5:00-6:30 Lost Season 4: If the Lost finale was any indication of things to come, you will not want to miss this panel! Co-creator/executive producer Damon Lindelof and executive producer Carlton Cuse will discuss the exciting new season of ABC’s Lost, all leading up to the ultimate series finale. They’ll spotlight bonus features from the 3rd season DVD box set, preview the new Lost video game, take questions from the audience and perhaps serve up more surprises.
Friday, July 27, 10:30-11:30 Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 1—Join three of Disney • Pixar’s most talented filmmakers, Ralph Eggelston, Oscar-winning director of For the Birds, Andrew Jimenez, Oscar-nominated co-director of One Man Band and Gary Rydstrom, director of Pixar’s newest animated Oscar-nominated short, Lifted, for a discussion about the studio’s acclaimed short films with a Q&A session to follow. (San Diego Comic Con)
Obviously this is not all there is to see and experience. How about some Heroes II, Star Wars, Superman, Marvel comics, DC, Simpsons, Dreamworks, Popeye, Manga, Image, Spider-Man, Legacy of Will Eisner, Babylon 5 and the list goes on…
Also let’s not forget the tons and tons of comics, trading cards, games and action figures that can be found here to buy, take home and enjoy for ever (As you might notice I am a totally geek when it comes to comics). For those visiting the event; enjoy
