Disneyland Resort Paris 15th Anniversary Celebration trip report: Ending

mickeyminniecastle1.jpgDid you notice that I didn’t talk about any rides so far on this trip report? I said it before and I’ll say it again; it is not all about rides, a Disney park is so much more. Sure we did rides! It is always fun to do Big Thunder Mountain a couple of times, Phantom Manor is a must do (being my favorite ride experience) and getting 739000 points on Buzz did add to the fun. But there is so much more. Even my 7 year old son doesn’t mind exploring the other things Disney has to offer besides rides. I think this was a trip where he did less rides then he ever did in any previous visit, still never was he bored once!

With the celebration being the main interest of this trip we got our attention to the Parade, and made sure that we visited each and every shop to see all the new 15th anniversary stuff. Also some good dinner arrangements and visiting some shows (like the Lion King and another visit to see the awesome stunt show) took over most of the time we spend in Disneyland Resort Paris this time around.

I know when you go to Disneyland Resort Paris for the first time, (for some it being a once in a lifetime experience, and others aren’t that lucky or life to far away for multiple visits) the rides are top priority. Even so, try to see all the other magic too as there is so much more. I could easily make a great day itinerary without a ride planned and still would it be an amazing experience. Try it. I know we enjoy it a lot…

the-end.jpgOn this trip I didn’t even come close to riding Peter Pan, Small World, Star Tours or Space Mountain (to name a few) and still it was an awesome trip. However, just saying all this, the next trip might be full of rides again as I’ll be there when a couple of new rides open, to just experience the once I did miss this time or to try and improve my score on Buzz… Visiting only a couple of rides or lots of rides, it is always great to be at Disneyland Resort Paris…

Ah, that Disney atmosphere! Who needs rides?! To be honest, we’ve been in the parks many times and not gone on any of the rides at all; we just love the experience and ambience of being amongst all the Disney fantasy. It is still the most magical of park atmospheres and, if you take your time and just look at all the detail on offer, it can be immensely rewarding.

I completely agree with you,I love just to walk around enjoying all that atmosphere , watching other people, the kids. I love it,no matter how many times I go there it’s allways special, and this year even more because in July I’m taking my seven year old nephew for his first time in Disneyland Resort Paris.
