Disney Dream Job
In a survey done by Careerbuilder.com 57% of the people said “it would be fun to work in Walt Disney World”. To give these people a chance they added a little “Disney Dream Job” contest.
If you would like to have a dream job as “Disney Pirate, Princess-in-Waiting, Jungle Cruise Skipper, Haunted Mansion Butler or Maid, or a Parade Performer” then you should visit the Careerbuilder website and send in your application.

I have been dying (no pun intended) to work in The Haunted Mansion since 1975.
When I was a child I was afraid of anything spooky, ghoulish etc. in fact I couldn’t even handle going to a friends Halloween party. Her mother had made a haunted house in the basement and I was so scared I was crying and this is when I was 12! I couldn’t handle listening to sound effects or anything like that.
The first time I went to Walt DisneyWorld was in September of 1975. It was my 1st anniversary so my husband and I went. I did NOT want to go in The Haunted Mansion but he made me. I haven’t been the same since.
It just got under my skin and everytime we went after that I would get into “character” before those doors swung opened. One time I outstared a butler and he couldn’t even stare at me anymore. The other cast members couldn’t stop laughing because I scared this guy!
I’ve brought my children up in Walt DisneyWorld. I’ve been to DisneyWorld 18 times and Disneyland 3 times.
I’ve always wanted to work in The Haunted Mansion and I’ve always said it’s my dream job. 30 years is a long time to wait to have a dream come true.
