Bad Decisions!… (some) Managers do that sometimes

grandfloridianresortfirstwithoutdisneyvalet.jpgThings like this are sad!

The first workers to greet many tourists at Walt Disney World will soon be some other company’s employees. Disney World plans to turn over at least 167 bell, valet and baggage service jobs to an outside company in January.

You see, some managers, who are earning top dollars, come up with these ideas and are convinced that this is the best for the company. What they don’t understand is that they destroy part of the magic and wrap it up with a fictional story saying how good it is for the costumers and the company. While one worker needs to work hard to provide his or her family with the necessities every day others can get there pockets filled with top manager’s fee while making bad decisions. (I could bore you with some examples I have seen in real life, even start a whole blog on these… but I will spare you all.)

The only persons that should loose their position are the managers who come up with such ideas. And Disney would even save a whole lot of money doing just that. (Money they can invest on their own bell, valet and baggage service and its employees).
