Next: Thailand Disneyland
You would almost loose track on all the countries announcing they’ll be the next to add a new Disneyland Park.
All rumors started to go out of control after Hong Kong got a park and a Mainland China park news started to pop up.
Next is Thailand, or at least one of their wealthy residents with Disney ambitions would like to see this happen.
Liquor tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi is investing around 30 billion baht in property projects nationwide worth a combined 70 billion baht. Also in the pipeline for the country’s richest man is an ambitious plan to develop a Thailand Disneyland covering 10,000 rai in the seaside resort town of Hua Hin. (Source: Bangkok Post)
On the other hand articles like this could well have two translations. Does he want a Disney Park or create his own (Disney look-a-like) theme park. I guess we will have to wait and see how much truth is in this article. Until then let’s guess what country will be next with a Disneyland rumor…

How will having a Disneyland in Hua-hin impact the locall quality of life for the area? Do you think Thailand is ready for a Disneyland? and that, will it attract cruise tours to come in to the Asian region because now asia would be having two Disneylands? How come Disneyworld is also not included in the plan? i think it is nice to have a variety mix since HongKong has a pretty nice Disneyland theme park, why dont Thailand focus on Disneyworld too? just a thought…

i think if you know how thai ppl work you will know how that’s worthy or not ,, pls think more to locate in this country , better find another country location ?
For example . How abour Vietnam or Singapore or Malysia ? Vietnam is the new indrustry country , Singapore is the good choice because the new gambling is there or taiwan because about the gambling location too ,, Malaysia is quite goog choice because have new land for government sector and business..
for Thailand i think .if you send your own ppl to locate to wait n see n learn or work with them more longer .. you will know what i try to mean .

To all of the hopefulls of a Disneyland in Thailand I must dissappoint you. Mr. Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi and his Property arm TCCC Land had recently dropped the Plans to build a Disneyland Themepark in Hua Hin. instead he is considering building a golf course with Housing Devellopment in Hua Hin instead. I’m very sorry to hear that as I was one hopwefulls that wished my dream of a Disneyland in Thailand would come true! But now I’m devastated and crushed that my dreames would not come true!!!
