Welcome Home… again (I hope) – DVC story continues
…or at least I hope it will be with this second try to get a Disney Vacation Club contract. (Last time I didn’t make it true Disney’s Right of First Refusal).
It has been a while since my last try but this was the first offer that was of interest for me. While I did get an offer for another contract before this one it wasn’t interesting because it was stripped for 2007, meaning no points before 2008. As I planned to be there in 2007 this would not have been a good choice.
While still trying to get a small contract (you can read why and the plan here) I did change my mind on the resort. With Saratoga Springs only on my list I was very limited to actually get the contract I wanted. No longer willing to wait I extended my wish list to all DVC resorts at Walt Disney World.
On Friday I got the call from the Timeshare Store; a 40 point contract in Old Key West. I was very exited about it and it didn’t take me long to decide to go for it. All paperwork has been signed and I am now waiting for Disney’s verdict on their Right of First Refusal. Let’s hope this is the one so I can start planning the next trip.

Thank you to the two of you for crossing your fingers for me. And Mike thanks for adding us to your feed, hope you’ll enjoy the ride as much as I do and don’t forget to tell the world about us. It is because of all the returning Disney fans out there that we have this much fun with the blog…
