Disneyland Resort Paris trip report; my 15 minutes of fame
Disneyland Resort Paris has a new DVD released of the park. A little sad for me as I was shown on the previous DVD in the special called: “From one light bulb to another” (from MediaDreams). It was real fun to be part of this project as I got some real nice threats during the taping of it (I should tell that story one time). On this trip I got recognized by some Disney fans and they asked to be in a picture with them. I felt so special, like my own 15 minutes of fame…. (well, OK… 3 minutes)
If you haven’t been able to see this special try to find it. You’ll get some great info on the Main Street Electrical Light Parade and Fantillusion. At this time it is only to be found on the previous DVD of Disneyland Resort Paris, but it is worth finding a copy. And no, it is not because I am in it that I try to sell it here.

Hi! I think you are talking about us! It Massimo and Franco from Italy and we were enjoying our first afternoon at the park at Frontierland when we suddenly met you: our star, one of those “passionated fans” featured in that wonderful special about the Main Street Electrical Parade farawell! What a coincidence! Thousands of people in the park and still and still we runned into each other. C’est la magie Disney!

How small the world is. Great that you guys are here too. I was so surprised about this run in, we didn’t really get to talk. Next time we go for a coffee or at least do a ride on Phantom Manor together.
Send me a copy of the picture too. I will keep it as a nice memory of that day. Hope to see you (and many other Disney fans) again soon in a Disney park…

“From one light bulb to another” was the reason I bought the dvd (your part in it is really nice). To bad there isn’t something similar on the new dvd.

i had my part of fame too
i was the “star” at the german tv show called disney filmparade, i have my own episode, it was shown on tv last october. see my blog here on this site.
and i have seen your special on this dvd, too. great work
