Guess I started a certain level of discussion with this one! ;-)

anyway i also feel, as i take Mr Entrertainment feels, that the main problem is the skelectrical cast which is present in the resort at the moment - certainly not enought to run the park s it deserves to be run.

If managment was to place greeters infront of the attractions these would indirectly be supervising the area in front of them.

the the parade deparment had a health budget they could have more than 8 people (that is the last number i came to know) helping on the parade route , therefore forcing people of the grass, down the hills etc.

If the cast memebers where paid a bit bette they prorpbably would have more love for there job - or maybe "drive" would be a better word as many of the CM love DLRP as much as us). They could stay in character, and get guests to actually stay in there palces and behave like civilised people instead of chimps!

If managment wanted to aptrol the hub (and i'm using the word "patrol" on pruopse here as this is the symbol of DLRP) they could set up Cast memebers taking pictures (whcih you could then buy at the photo shop) ifront of the castle!

Most of all; if people tried to demonstart sometimes that they have repect for other people, for there jobs and for private property we wouldn't be having this whole discussion!

...next time i'll see those kids palying footbal I'll get there footbal and kick it into the Studios....(at least after 5pm it's gona be difficult to hurt someone other there ;-) sorry had to get the nerves relaxed!

In response to BellBoy - going for a quick "wee wee" in front of the Mona Lisa?????? Never would I dream of such a thing. And if someone was to do such a thing, I do not believe that they would end up at Disneyland, but in prison, under arrest.
Bears thinking about.

Thankyou for your comments, and all the Best,

I can't agree more. When you go to the Louvre do you see these such acts/behaviors?
No, it is managed better, hence respected.
Well put. Thank you.

How unfortunate to see such a post here. Unfortunate in a negative way? Far from it!! Unfortunate in a positive way, at least for the fans.
It's not too good for DLRP Managment though.
Taking the examples: 1.Kids playing football in front of the Castle. Well, if DLRP had enough staff, that would never happen, as a football is seen as a dangerous item, that could hit someone, who would then complain and then get loads of compensation etc etc.
2. Guests pissing inside the caves in Adventureland... Well, nothing new there - it's just we don't advertise this in the ads each summer - sort of like "Come to Disneyland, meet Mickey, and see two grown adults with their d**** out having one in the caves in Adventureland." Don't think the shareholders would like that advert campaign too much. Of course, extra signage and more Cast Members would help to resolve this challenge.
3. The "I've-paid-so-I-can-do-what-I-like" approach. This is the best attitude to have if you want to be kicked out the park very quickly. Politeness and good manners give politeness and good manners in return. This is also valid for the CM who don't really care about their jobs.
4.Smoking in the attractions... OK, now this one really gets on my back here. Do people realise what can happen if you smoke inside an attraction? The smoke detectors go off. The ride goes to Emergency Full Stop, and has to be evacuated. During this time, Control are going crazy, and the entire Fire Support Department is being scrambled not only inside the Park, but alos in Lagny, Chessy, and Serris. So, for one cigarette, the results are pretty serious. So, don't smoke in the attractions. Of course, anyone found smoking will be kicked out of the Park(s) as soon as is possible.
5.Finally, the people on the grass banks during the Parades... Unfortunately, due to the fact that there are only 2 perhaps 3 people of security patrolling the site during the evening parades due to severe staff cutbacks, people will continue to ruin the beauty of what is those grassy knolls in front of the Castle and on the Hub. Perhaps the powers that be should think about hiring more security people, instead of hoping that other people will gladly do their jobs for them, which seems to be the case at present.....

As for flaming Andrea, as the writer of this post, I disagree.
The ones who should be flamed are Disneyland Resort Paris Management, who, through bad management practices, bad spending policies, poor wages offered, and continual consistent staff shortages in departments that need it the most, have let the situation get as bad as it has.
Sadly, without a complete turnaround, the situation can only get worse,

All the Best, to all contributors who have commented,

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU, AND I THINK IT IS A EUROPEAN PROBLEM. I VISIT DISNEY WORLD EVERY YEAR, AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE RESPECT DISNEY IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT WAY, THEY WOULD NOT DARE DO THE THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING TO OUR PARK IN PARIS, AND AS A SHAREHOLDER I AM SOMEWHAT CONCERNED, PRECIOUS RESOURCES ARE BEING WASTED, REPAIRING THE DAMAGE THAT HAS BEEN DONE, THROUGH A COMPLETE LACK OF RESPECT, WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE SPENDING VASTS AMOUNTS OF MONEY TO GET INTO DLP THEN ONLY SEEM TO CAUSE SO MUCH DAMAGE, ANOTHER POINT I HAVE NOTICE BETWEEN DLP, AND THE DISNEY THEME PARKS IN USA, IS THAT WE EUROPEANS DO NOT RESPECT ANY RULES, FOR INSTANCE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU NOTICED SMOKING IN THE QUEUES AND ON THE RIDES?

Hi.
I was there from sunday 9/4 untill friday the 14/4.
We love to go to DLP, but this time there was a lot of young people that couldn't behave. As we went to Phantom Manor, some young guys lit cigarettes inside the ride. When we came to the grinning ghosts, one of them throw his cigarette out into the set. We told the castmembers when we got out, but they said they couldn't do anything. I really dont understand why they do stuff like that, i told the cm because i would feel really bad if i came back the next day and it had burned down.

My wife and I were knocked for a loop when we went to DLP. Being American and backpacking all over Europe we were kinda of excited to get a little taste of home.
The visitors there were nothing like WDW. Rude would be an understatement. We actually walked into the Skull rock feature and found two guys pissing/urinating in the cave. They looked at us, laughed, zipped up, grabbed the kids and went on.
We were like, what is going on. I haven't really been able to make sence of it until I read your post here.
We too thought it was just a bad day.

Well ... on wich point did i start?

1. Its not "our" mistake. There is no group - everyone ist an adult - yes, in DLP too. If you are not an adult, you had one at your site who is one.

2. Its not european problem, everywhere on the world you find people who think: "It not mine, i didnt care about" -this people runs into flowers to get the perfect view, this people stomp over other to get a better seat at one of the shows, this people are the one who let drop theyr junk just where they stand - its not them, they dont care. You find people of this style in every Group ... every day rus a "group" of 50.000 individuals into the park - on some days the double - so you get every day of contingent of this idiots - an one thing is absolut: if the first idiot drop down his junk, runs over the fences ect. - he find a million followers - everywhere - in germany we call that "herdentier" ...

3. Things against that? Not much. Disney hat outcountet so much of the castmembers that there ist just enough for the basic running of the park ... no more greeters, no more trashcleaners for the streets, no more "funnystuff" who just interact with the mass ... no one would run into the flowers if a smiling CM stands directly nearby (well mostly), no junkdropper would find follower if the trash is captured between an houre. In the early years this was the way, DLP gets its magic - and then the budgetcontrolers take the leadership ...
In the early years we made the joke, that, if you would throw a paper into the BuenaVistaLake in seconds there would come up from the base a diver who take ist away. And today?

4. One its definently: This stupids are not "Fans" they are Visitors. Rude Visitors. They think: I pay the Entry, I can do, what i whant. Like the footballkids - for them DLP is not a fine place to get some moments of magic. Its just a place wich is not called "shool" - and without TV or Playstation. You need fantasy to get the magic - this people didnt have it ... they just whant all for theyr money - basta.

5. So it is a problem of this folk BUT the managment of DLP gets its own part of this dirty cake - they transfer in the last years a magic place into a cheap Boutique with big black ears - and that is what the coustomers feel - and so they handle the park as they would be in a cheap boutique. Hard for people like us, who KNOW that it can be better, that it WAS better ... but this folk didnt know.
