A true Disney fan has to have one? ;-)
So it finally happened; i passed on the other side of the (digital) fence and got myself an imac!
It happened last Tuesday around midnight; it was a dark and cold night in Milan, one of those evenings with not much to see on TV and in which you cannot really decide which Disney movie to fire up on your home theatre system….so I found myself surfing the web on my Hewlet Packard PC!
I was happily reading the latest Disney news etc when internet explorer crashed ! There was no way for me to get it working again for more than 1 or 2 minutes….it just crashed continuosly!
Add to this the fact that excel and word had made me go nutts in the last few days due to crashes, a wi-fi card which simply wasn’t connecting to the net and you get the idea of how I was frustrated with my PC.
Worst of all I didn’t even have my brand new (and extremely beautifull) trustly VAIO business laptop with me that night!
I switched the computer of did a step by step start up and was able to get myself back o the web.
I had been thinking about it for months; saying to myself “I need to get a mac for the home, but let’s just wait for the new intel models to come out!
So I went on applestore and got one! Fortunately 2 of my best mates are apple fanatics (could compete there apple fandom with my Disney one actually…) and therefore I have migrated with calm and no fear of the big leap! Plus my company runs on windows and an exchange server so I have all my emails syncs perfects etc.
…let’s say that as a good Disney fanatic I had to have a mac made by the man who now owns the biggest stake in the company!

Ehy Andrea! Welcome in the big Apple family! I left the pc-world 3 years ago when i’ve finally decide to switch to Apple! You did a great choise! Enjoy your iMac and ask if you need help, i’m italian.
