Whatever the cruise will be, it will be a Disney Cruise as the company is looking to widen their horizon. The rumor that the Disney Cruise will sail from Europe in 2007 already appeared on the DLP.Info Forum, but also on Screamscape and I also received some mails from Disney fans that are planning their trip to Disneyland Paris for a short visit before boarding the cruise liner direction Walt Disney World in Orlando. Sounds great to me too, as I have started to dream about it already myself. Never thought I would ever consider taking a cruise, but if Mickey is the captain I do not need a lot of convincing.

There will definitely be special itineraries on the Disney Magic between 5/12/07 and 9/1/07. No official announcement has been made, but there are strong rumors that Disney Cruise Line will be doing 10-night and 11-night Mediterranean itineraries in summer 2007. Rumored itineraries and dates:

• 5/12/07-5/26/07- Repositioning cruise from Port Canaveral to Europe
• 5/26/07-8/18/07 – Alternating 10-night and 11-night cruises
• 8/18/07-9/1/07 – Repositioning cruise from Europe to Port Canaveral

Even if Europe seems to be on top of the list I did get some info that Alaska might be first in line. I guess we will have to see what the official “Disney Cruise Line” announcement will say.
On the 04/04/2006 a decision should be made public as at that time orders can be placed. However it seems to be recommended to write yourself in on a waiting list so a good idea would be to contact a travel agency like Small World Vacations (who, by the way, helped me a lot on my WDW vacation). They could add you on a waiting list. They will do the rest for you (if by then not all places are already taken)
